Fish the Mechanic is a lead generation platform only. We connect customers with independent mechanics. By registering, you acknowledge and agree to all of the following:

  • Fish the Mechanic is NOT a party to any service agreement between you and a customer.
  • Fish the Mechanic is NOT liable for any disputes, charges, property damage, personal injury, or issues of any kind arising from services you perform.
  • Fish the Mechanic is NOT responsible for the accuracy of any diagnosis, repair, or quote you provide.
  • You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Fish the Mechanic.
  • You are solely responsible for your own work, tools, licensing, insurance, and compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • All disputes between you and a customer are to be resolved directly between the two parties. Fish the Mechanic will not mediate, arbitrate, or assume liability for any such disputes.
  • Fish the Mechanic reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of platform rules or excessive complaints.

A $10.00 platform fee applies per completed job after your first 90 days. You will receive daily billing summaries by email. Invoices are sent weekly.
